Chromaphon

Two playable op-art prints — original compositions in the visual language of Victor Vasarely. Touch the colors to play; echo the phrases the artwork proposes; the music you hear is built from the notes you played.

Victor 2 is tuned to the psychoacoustics of calm: 66–90 BPM, flute and handpan voices, an air bed that breathes at six breaths per minute.

Inspired by a visit to the Kunsthalle Weishaupt.
Made with AI on a rainy afternoon that kept me indoors.
A thought:AI will change the grammar of art, but it won't let the talentless create it.

All compositions are original generative works created in homage to the visual language of Victor Vasarely (1906–1997). They are not reproductions of works by Vasarely, and this project is not affiliated with or endorsed by the artist’s estate.
